About

A designer-engineer with heart.

Raised in Dubai and now building my future in Ontario, I thrive in fast-moving, collaborative spaces. I believe that engineering should feel personal—rooted in listening, cultural awareness, and a drive to do right by the people we serve.

What I’m studying

Biomedical & Electrical Engineering at McMaster University with a focus on human-centered medical devices.

How I work

Thoughtful researcher, collaborative teammate, and detail-oriented builder who finds clarity in complex problems.

What energizes me

Improving access to compassionate care, experimenting with rapid prototyping, and mentoring others in STEM.

Experience

Hands-on practice that blends theory and empathy.

Embedded Systems & Robotics

Designed and tuned an infrared line-following robot using PID control, balancing accuracy and speed for variable track conditions.

  • Programmed in C/C++ for responsive navigation.
  • Led testing to evaluate performance across surfaces.

Patient-Focused Design

Collaborated with healthcare professionals to design a custom ostomy appliance that improved day-to-day comfort for individuals with ulcerative colitis.

  • Modeled 3D concepts in AutoCAD and refined using stakeholder input.
  • Produced functional prototypes via 3D printing.

Leadership & Mentorship

Coordinated STEM outreach and peer tutoring initiatives that celebrated diversity and enabled future-ready problem solvers.

  • Mentored classmates through design-thinking workshops.
  • Built inclusive spaces for early innovators to explore engineering.

Projects
